How and where to advertise.
There are many places online you can advertise. These include classified ad sites , safelists , traffic exhanges, PPC ads such as Google Adsense, Yahoo Ads, Adbrite , Expoactive , banner exchanges , forums , networking sites. You'll find examples of these by as you work through the menu links to your left .
Decide whether your going to use free or paid advertising. There are millions of places for you to advertise. I recommend some good free ones and a selection of paid too. Again work through the menu links to your left .
Set yourself a monthly advertising budget. Don't spend more than you can afford. You'll want to look at ways to track your ads so you know what ads are paying off for you. I've included some tools & services you'll want to consider using.
Write your advertising material.
Practice writing your own ads and try them out on family and friends. If you need help with writing ads I've included tools and resources to help you out.
Set aside time, preferably daily, to promote your business.
Get organized. Make a timetable at stick with it. Obviously the more time you put in promoting your business the better your chance of success.
Promote Promote Promote.
The more time you put in and the more places you advertise the better. There's always somewhere else you can be advertising. Even if you have no money to spend there are millions of free places you can place ads, so do it.
